Today’s visit of representatives of Botev (Plovdiv) to the health facility turned into a real celebration for the children being treated at the Children’s Surgery Clinic St. George.
The head coach of the first men’s team Dušan Kerkez, the team captain Ivelin Popov and the young player Ivaylo Videv made their first donation on behalf of the club, bringing with them many gifts for the children. The club mascot “Benksa” – the canary was also present, which contributed to the joy and excitement among the children.
The Botevists were warmly welcomed by everyone working in the clinic, headed by Professor Dr. Penka Stefanova. The meeting of the representatives of the two institutions was in an excellent mood, and the smiles did not leave the faces of either the hospitable hosts or their special guests .
With numerous photos, hugs, wishes for success and promises of new meetings, the practical beginning of the cooperation between PFC “Botev” and hospital “St. George” was laid, having the noble goal of helping society.
