Thousands of supporters of Botev (Plovdiv) joined the solemn parade in the city on the occasion of winning the Bulgarian Cup. The Canaries won their fourth trophy of the tournament in a dramatic final, winning 3-2 against Ludogorets.
The two captains – Ivelin Popov and Lachezar Baltanov – led the convoy in a special convertible car. Coach Dusan Kerkez was in the forefront, while a large part of the team traveled by club bus, surrounded by the crowded streets of Plovdiv with the “yellow and black” fans.
The parade, which gathered thousands, ended with the triumphant lifting of the Bulgarian Cup from the balcony of the Municipality of Plovdiv. In honor of the success of the “canaries” and the center’s fountains were colored yellow.
