Dear Botevists,
The management of PFC “Botev” expresses its true admiration to all of you for the created unique atmosphere and unique support in the meeting of the first qualifying round in the “Europa League” tournament between the teams of “Botev” and “Maribor”.
Your European behavior, for which many experts, football figures and guests who attended the football match at the Hristo Botev Stadium, as well as those who watched the match on television, were not spared good words, makes us feel proud and grateful for your passionate dedication gave wings to our representative men’s team to achieve the prestigious victory.
We are grateful that you did not give any reason for our club to be fined for illegal actions, which we consider as a real help from you for our future development.
The only violation for which PFC “Botev” was sanctioned with a fine of 8,000 euros concerned the presence of people occupying the paths between individual blocks in the sectors, which we accept as our organizational error. We will try to solve this problem in the next hosting of the European club tournaments in order to continue together with you to raise the image of the club to an ever higher level.
