Mitko Argirov played for Botev from 1976 to 1991. For the “yellow-blacks” he recorded 156 games and scored 40 goals. He won the Soviet Army Cup in 1981, the silver medal in 1986 and the bronze medals in 1981, 1983, 1985, 1987 and 1988. Finalist for the Bulgarian Cup in 1984.
