Georgi Nikolov will miss the rest of the season due to injury. This was shown by the medical examinations carried out in recent days.
Botev’s forward has torn cruciate ligaments and meniscus and will undergo surgery in the coming days. Nikolov was forced off the field in Botev’s last home game against CSKA 1948.
So far this season, Nikolov leads the efbet League top scorer list with 12 goals. At club and national level, the 21-year-old forward scored a total of 16 goals, including 4 with Botev’s team in just 8 games.
