Anthony Ujah is officially a footballer of Botev (Plovdiv). The 33-year-old striker has an impressive career in Germany with the teams of Mainz 05, FC Köln, Werder Bremen, Union Berlin and Eintracht Braunschweig, from where he arrives in Bulgaria.
He has 136 matches and 30 goals in the Bundesliga, 114 matches with 37 goals in the Second Bundesliga and 24 matches and 7 goals for the Cup. Ujah has also played 7 matches for the Nigerian national team.

The striker was born on October 14, 1990 and plays for Abuja and Warri Wolves in his homeland. His first European club was the Norwegian Lilleström, where he stayed until the summer of 2011. He secured a transfer and made his Bundesliga debut in August 2011 with Mainz. There comes a period of rent in Cologne, after which his rights are bought by FC Köln.
His football journey took him from FC Köln to Werder Bremen in a €4.50 million transfer, and in 2016, China’s Liaoning FC paid €11.50 million for his rights. In the summer of 2019, Ujah returned to Europe to begin his second period in Mainz 05. In Germany, he also played in Union Berlin and Eintracht Braunschweig, where he played until the end of the past season.
