Stefan Smerkalev will continue his career in the German elite Werder Bremen. The talented guard passed medical examinations and signed his contract with the “Bremen musicians”. Last season, Werder finished 9th in the Bundesliga.
In the next season, the goalkeeper born in the year 2007 will play for the second team of Werder Bremen For Botev, Smarkalev recorded 24 matches, two of which were for the first team of the Canaries. The guard is also considered one of Bulgaria’s greatest talents in the goalkeeper position.
