Botev (Plovdiv) player Antoine Baroan swept the awards for October in the traditional survey conducted by Press Club “Bulgaria”.
Our striker was chosen as the Player of the Round for both the 12th and 15th rounds of the Efbet League, as well as the Player of the Month for October.
Baroan received 7 votes from Efbet League coaches for the 12th round and 8 for the 15th round in the Press Club Bulgaria survey.
In the Player of the Month for October voting, the Frenchman won the award with a total of 14 votes, following his remarkable performance including a hat-trick against Beroe in the “Battle for Thrace” at Hristo Botev Stadium, and contributing two goals and two assists in the “Canaries'” 6:0 victory over Lokomotiv Sofia.
Baroan also emerged as the leading scorer in the First League with 8 goals.
