The 42-year-old Slovenian Dominik Beršnjak is the new coach of the backup team of Botev (Plovdiv). He most recently worked as an assistant in Rogaška, with whom he won the Slovenian Cup last season.
Beršnjak’s coaching career has also passed through the Austrian Großklein, the Swiss Grasshoppers, the Polish Legionowia, the Slovenian Brda, Rudar Velene and Bile. As a footballer, he is a two-time Slovenian Cup winner with Maribor and Cele.
The backup team begins preparations for their participation in League Two on Wednesday (June 19).
