Martin Hristov signed a contract for another year with Botev (Plovdiv). The central defender extended his contract with the “yellow-black” after his previous one was until the end of the 2024/25 season.
During the last campaign, Hristov was loaned to Botev (Vratsa). For Vrachani, the 20-year-old defender played 17 matches in the championship, 15 of which as a starter. Hristov also played the full 120 minutes in the decisive barrage for survival in the elite, which Botev (Vratsa) won on penalties against second-division Marek.
The defender is a youth academy player from Botev (Plovdiv). For the Canaries’ first team, Hristov has 2 games, making his debut in the yellow-black shirt at the end of the 2022/23 season.
