Botev Plovdiv has signed defender Enock Kwateng, who is the 11th signing in the Canaries’ summer selection.
The Frenchman was on trial with the “yellow-blacks” and was approved by the coaching staff, after which he initialed a contract with the Plovdiv club.
The full-back has over 100 matches in the French elite with the teams of Bordeaux and Nantes, and was most recently part of Ankaragucu.
The 28-year-old defender shared his opinion with the club media:
I am very happy to sign with this historic club in Bulgaria. I have heard a lot of good things about the club, the city and the fans. I want to thank the president and the coach for giving me the opportunity to shine again. I am very grateful. I thank my teammates and the fans for the warm welcome. I already feel at home. I have had difficulties in the last months, but now I am ready to give everything for this shirt and to convey the trust and love that Botev gives me. I will bring my experience and qualities to the team. Let’s do it together. Само Ботев!
