Botev’s head coach Dušan Kerkez gave his opinion after Botev’s victory over Russia’s Rubin (Kazan) in their second to last friendly match in Turkey.
Here are Dušan’s first words after the match:
“Good match, I think we played very well. We are not deviating from our plan, we are preparing for the resumption of the championship. I am happy with the performance of my team today.”
When asked about the future of Antoine Baroan, Dušan Kerkez said: Baroan may leave, his transfer to a European championship is being prepared, but until something is official, I have nothing to say.
Regarding the injury of the teenager Ivaylo Videv: We will see what happens in the coming days. Videv sprained his ankle and we didn’t want to take any chances with him. We hope he will be ready to play within 1-2 days”.
