Supporters of the oldest football club in Bulgaria,
The management of PFC Botev Plovdiv officially announces that the team’s new head coach will be Dimitar Dimitrov – Hero.
Due to prior commitments and organizational circumstances, the signing of the contract and his official inauguration will take place on November 17, 2025.
Dimitar Dimitrov – Hero is one of the most experienced and respected Bulgarian coaches, having proven himself both in Bulgaria and on the international stage.
In his long career, he is a Bulgarian champion with Litex Lovech, Levski Sofia and Ludogorets Razgrad, a Bulgarian Cup winner with Levski Sofia, as well as a former coach of the Bulgarian national team.
Under his leadership, a number of teams achieved their strongest seasons in history, and his working style is a symbol of discipline, tactical maturity, and strong character.
The club’s management believes that with Hero’s experience and authority, as well as the support of the yellow-black community, Botev Plovdiv will embark on the path of stability and rise.
