Botev Plovdiv has made a major transfer. The “yellow and black” have attracted attacking footballer Georgi Milanov to their ranks.
One of the most successful Bulgarian footballers has signed a two-year contract with the “Canaries”, with an option to extend the contract.
Georgi Milanov was born on February 19, 1992 and has extensive experience both in the Bulgarian championship and abroad. In 2012, he was elected Footballer No. 1 in Bulgaria.
In his career, Milanov is a 2-time Russian champion with CSKA Moscow, a 2-time Bulgarian champion with Litex Lovech, a Hungarian Cup winner with MOL Vidi, and a Bulgarian Cup winner with Levski Sofia.
The attacking footballer has 54 caps for the Bulgarian men’s national team. Milanov most recently played for Romanian side Dinamo Bucharest, where he made a total of 94 appearances.
In the oldest Bulgarian football club, Georgi Milanov will wear the number 17 jersey.
