Botev (Plovdiv) sold James Eto’o to CSKA for a substantial transfer fee. The 23-year-old footballer joined the “Canaries” in the summer of 2021 and played 102 matches in the “yellow-black” jersey.
The Cameroonian, whose contract was until the summer of 2025, was part of the squad that won bronze medals in the 2021/22 season and the Bulgarian Cup in the 2023/24 season. During this period, the defensive midfielder scored three goals and added seven assists.
