Botev (Plovdiv) will also play its last two games of the summer training behind closed doors. The reason is the preparation of the “yellow-black” for the upcoming match of the first qualifying round of the UEFA Europa League against Maribor on July 11.
Today, July 2, Botev will meet the backup team of the “canaries” in a training game. The last summer check of Dusan Kerkez’s squad is tomorrow, July 3, when the “yellow and black” will face Krumovgrad. However, both matches will be closed to supporters as part of the team’s preparation program for the official matches.
So far in the summer, Botev defeated another of the native European participants – Cherno More with 5:2, and before that won with 1:0 against Beroe. The scheduled match with CSKA 1948 was canceled due to bad weather conditions and flooded grounds in Sofia.
