Botev’s youngster Kostadin Tatarov signed his first professional contract with the club. The defender’s contract runs until December 2026.
Born in 2005, Kostadin Tatarov is a product of the “yellow-black” youth program. In the 2022/2023 season, he played 25 games with the backup team of Botev Plovdiv in the Second League and 2 games for the National Team of Bulgaria under the age of 18.
Tatarov conducted winter training together with the men’s team of Botev Plovdiv and took part in a number of control matches during the preparatory camp, with which he left a very good impression on the sports and technical management of the club.
