Ivelin Popov may not be physically ready for Botev’s upcoming home game against Botev (Vratsa) due to a viral illness. In the last round against CSKA 1948, the Canaries’ captain played the full 90 minutes despite having a high fever, once again being among the best on the pitch. Botev (Plovdiv) has started preparations for the upcoming match against Botev (Vratsa), and the meeting is this Friday at 17:45 at the “Hristo Botev” stadium.
Christian Nachukwu, who is also suffering from a viral illness, and Atanas Chernev, who is recovering from a minor injury, are also in question for the clash with Botev Vratsa on Friday.
The recovery of Yanis Karabelyov, who is expected to return to the field very soon, continues. Georgi Nikolov, who was injured in the previous round and will be absent until the end of the season.
Also available for head coach Dusan Kerkez is Antonio Perera, who missed the matches with Beroe and CSKA 1948 due to accumulation of yellow cards.
