The bitcoin director of Botev Plovdiv, Georgi Manolov, gave an interview to Diema Sport regarding the integration of the technology in the club’s activities. He shares everything important about the project and what the future holds for Bitcoin and the “yellow-black”.
According to Manolov, the idea was inspired by the beliefs and values that the Plovdiv grand defends, namely the freedom of the individual and his identity. He believes that the adoption of Bitcoin technology is a natural step that embodies the beautiful goals and ideals that our patron Hristo Botev fought for.
On the one hand, the project aims to attract new fans who are part of the Bitcoin and crypto circles, both in Bulgaria and abroad. The club also wants to build relationships with new types of companies and new types of capital to help develop the team both on the football field and in the public space.
