Botev (Plovdiv) organizes a special surprise for all fans who will attend the final match of the season. On Monday, May 27, at 20:00, the “Canaries” host Arda, this is the last match in the championship for the 23/24 season.
For this reason, the club has prepared a special program before and during the match. One of the big surprises is related to the fact that every supporter who visits the fan zone before the match will be able to take a picture with the Bulgarian Cup.
The meeting with Arda will be more special for a few more reasons. Those present in the stands will have the chance to send off one of Botev’s legends – Lachezar Baltanov. The midfielder will play his last game for the first team, as from next season he will take the role as assistant coach in the backup team of the Canaries.
Here is a complete program of all activities in the fan zone before the match with Arda:
- 10:00 – Fan Shop;
- 14:00 – Ticket Office;
- 18:00 – Parking Lot opens
- 18:30 – 19:30 – Photos with the Cup of Bulgaria;
- 18:30 – Entertainers and Attractions;
- 18:30 – Stadium doors open
- 20:00 – start of the match against Arda.
Botev is sending off an extremely successful season after the canaries managed to grab the Bulgarian Cup and thus qualified for the Europa League. In the dramatic final played on May 15, the “yellow and black” beat Ludogorets 3-2 to win their 4th national cup overall in their history.
