The team of Botev (Plovdiv) turned its eyes to its upcoming home game in the First League on Saturday against Pirin (Blagoevgrad). The duel will take place on 25.11 at 15:00 at Hristo Botev Stadium.
“The Canaries” gathered for training on Monday, after getting a day off following the control meeting with Maritsa at the club base.
Dusan Kerkez’s players were divided into 2 groups – in the gym and on the field. They will have two training sessions on Tuesdays and train once a day until the match day with the Eagles.
Mohamed Brahimi, on the other hand, continues to train on an individual program and will be monitored by the coaching staff of the “yellow-blacks”. He has been showing good results in tests and is feeling increasingly confident towards his return to the field.
Outside the main group are the players with the national teams – Atanas Chernev (Bulgaria U21), Hidajet Hankic (Bosnia and Herzegovina), Joonas Tamm (Estonia), Faustas Steponavicius (Lithuania) and Antoine Conte (Guinea). They are expected to join the team’s camp later this the week.
