Botev (Plovdiv) made an incoming transfer. The Canaries have strengthened with Lithuanian midfielder Matijus Remeikis from FC Panevezys.
Born on March 28, 2003 central midfielder will be loaned to the Lithuanian side until the end of the 2023-24 season and will then join Dušan Kerkez’s squad.
Matijus has 72 games, 2 assists and 1 goal with the Panevezys team in the top level of Lithuanian football. Remeikis also played 6 matches in the Conference League with the Lithuanians.
Matijus wins the “Best Young Player” award in Lithuania in 2023. He became a champion and won the Super Cup of Lithuania with FC Panevezys. The young midfielder is also a national player of Lithuania, which also includes Botev’s offensive player – Faustas Steponavičius.
