The doubling team of Botev (Plovdiv) achieved success against the team of Sliven with 7:1. The match of the 11th round of the Southeast Third League was played at the Football Complex “Nikola Shterev – Starika”.
The match started with pressure from the Canaries, who had several clean chances right from the start. In the 20th minute, after Atanas Yordanov’s spot kick from 20 meters, the Yellow-Blacks opened the scoring. Until the end of the first half, the Botevists continued their superiority and were looking for a second goal.
After the break, the Canaries managed to score 2 quick goals after Gabriel Zlatanov and Emil Naydenov scored in Ivelin Avramov’s goal. Peter Prindjev of the visiting team reduced the score in the 60th minute.
By the end of the second half 4 more goals fell in favor of Botev – Georgi Kushchinarov scored 2 goals, Gabriel Zlatanov scored for 6:1 in the 72nd minute and the final score was again formed by him realizing his hat-trick in the match.
In the next round of the Southeast Third League, the Botevists visit Sekirovo (Rakovski). The meeting is on October 11 at 16:00. at Petar Parcevic Stadium in Rakovski.
