Botev Plovdiv’s central defender, Antoine Conte, has received a call-up for Guinea’s qualification matches against DR Congo and Tanzania for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco.
In the first two matches of their campaign, Guinea will face DR Congo in Kinshasa on September 6, and four days later, they will host Tanzania in Yamoussoukro (Ivory Coast). The 30-year-old defender has already accumulated a total of 16 appearances for the Guinea national team since his debut in March 2022. Earlier this year, the team reached the quarter-finals of the Africa Cup of Nations, with Conte participating in four of the matches.
