Botev’s head coach Dusan Kerkez shared his impressions after his team’s victory over Vejle Boldklub.
Here are the first words of our head-coach:
“It’s always good to win, but it doesn’t change our plans in any way. I liked that my players ran a lot this match. We don’t have any injured players, which is very important. We have another week here, we have to go on and concentrate on our work in training.
We had a plan for the game with Paksi FC, as well as for this one – that some of the players would play 60 minutes. For the last two controls, we have planned a lot of players to play the full 90 minutes.
We now officially have a new goalkeeper. The president and sporting director are doing everything they can to attract a defender. I hope to hear news about him in the coming days.
“I am satisfied at this stage of preparation. We are following the plan we have and I am happy with the performance of the players,” said Dušan Kerkez.
