Botev Plovdiv defeated Beroe 3-1 in a game from the 13th round of the Bulgarian championship. The Canaries dictated the whole game, especially after 37th minute, when Djoman from the visitors was sent off for two yellow cards. Despite that, the first half ended 0-0. In the first few minutes of the second half The Yellow-Blacks decided everything – first Milen Gamakov scored with a powerful shot in the 51st minute, later Tomas Jirshak doubled the lead, scoring one on one against the Beroe goalkeeper. Everything was secured in the 65th minute when Ivan Cvetkov scored for 3-0. In the end Beroe managed to return one of the goals. Botev returnet to the top 6 in the the dense standings between third and seventh place.
